Cynthiana is a city rich in history, and some of that history is still on working-display today. Visit the town’s longest-running restaurant, Biancke’s, for some delicious pie, browse the Cynthiana Museum, and top off your day seeing a movie at Roh’s Opera House, one of Kentucky’s oldest, still operating single screen theaters
A short drive away is Paris, Kentucky, a town rich in horse history. We suggest visiting the retired thoroughbred race horses at Claiborne Farm. Peruse antiques in downtown Georgetown, only 20 minutes from Ashford Acres Inn, or drive to Lexington to see the horses race at Keeneland, and blow off some steam shopping at some of the many local boutiques.
